Heeey bloggers & make-up geeks! Ik heb dringend jullie hulp nodig! Ik krijg binnenkort mijn eerste loon en wil volop gaan shoppen! Dus ik heb een vraag voor jullie!

Hebben jullie een bepaald favoriet merk of product die jullie mij kunnen aanraden?

Scrubbing Time + Best Body Scrubs

Jaaaa, jaaa… zomer is er! Geeft je dit geen fantastich gevoel? Mij wel, de zon, bruinen, zwembaden, bbqs enz. Met deze felle zon wil iedereen een bruin kleurtje hebben.  Maar om fatsoenlijk te bruinen, moet je je voorbereiden.  Wat moet je doen?

THE MESSAGE IS SCRUBBING/EXFOLIATE

Of je nu natuurlijk bruin wilt worden of een zelfbruiner wilt gebruiken, scrubben is één van de belangrijkste routines! Waarom?

Je huidcellen vernieuwen elke dag opnieuw. Je lichaam maakt extra cellen als ze in contact komen met UV-stralen of andere schadelijke invloeden. Ik vergelijk dit een beetje als een slang. Door celvernieuwing, verliest je dode huidcellen. Deze dode huidcellen moeten ook verwijderd worden, anders wordt je huid grauw. Net als een slang vervel je. Dus deze dode huidcellen moeten weggehaald worden om daarna tot een zachte huid te komen.

ENG| Every day your body creates new skin cells. Your body creates extra cells when they are in contact to UV or other damaging influences. I compare this as a snake. By cell renewal, you lose a lot of dead skin cells. These dead skin cells must be removed, otherwise your skin would become more grey. Like a snake you peels. So your dead skin cells must be removed to get a more softer skin. 

Scrubben zorgt ervoor dat je huid straalt en zacht aanvoelt. Bij hardmatig zweten zie je die zichtbare velletjes, wel dit zijn dode huidcellen. Het lijkt vies, maar het zijn gewoon huidschilfertjes. Scrubben is ook belangrijk, voordat je zelfbruiners gebruikt of gewoon buiten gaat bruinen.

When you sweat during sports or while tanning, you will see some visible skins comming off, well those are dead skin cells. It looks nasty, but those are just skin scales(flakes). Exfoliation is also important before applying tanning products or tanning outside.

De korrels voelen net als grof zout en het ruikt enorm naar munt.
Deze scrub is vooral ruw, aldus scrub niet te hard.

ENG| This scrub is perfect for all your body. The grains feels like salt and it smells like mint. This scrub is especially raw, so don’t scrub to hard. – €44 (limited edition)

L’Occitane – Deze scrub is een pasta en voelt als een crème, maar je bespeurt toch de korrteltjes. Ruikt naar amandelolie. ENG| This paste  feels like a cream, but you will notice the salt grains. Smells like almond oil+ shea butter. €8,50-50ml

 

Body Shop – De korrels is gemalen rijst — het product zal in je handen niet ontbinden voordat je klaar bent  met scrubben.
ENG| The grains are ground-up rice — so the product doesn’t dissolve in your hands before you’re finished exfoliating. It smells like cocoa butter and your skin is perfectlty smooth.

Biotherm Aquasource – Your beauty routine

Iedereen heeft wel problemen met zijn eigen huid. Die vuile poriën, puistjes, roodheid en ga zo maar verder. Maar, hoe krijg je nou die diepe hydratatie en zachte huid? 
Ik heb iets getest! Ik beloof niet dat het al je roodheid, puistjes…wegwerkt. Maar het resultaat achteraf was verrassend!

ENG| I got a sample from Ici Paris Xl, Biotherm Aquasource! Do you know Biotherm? Biotherm is a French luxury skin care company. The brand uses thermal plankton and mineral water as ingredients which supposedly is key to healthy skin. It’s time to test this!

Bij het openen zag ik 3 staaltjes. Staaltje om te reinigen, verkwikken en te verzorgen. Bovenaan staat de collectie “Aquasource” kort uitgelegd en enkele biologische feiten.
Biotherm beloofd dat het zichtbare resultaten geeft op de huid. De huid is zowat voller, stralender en hydrateert 48u lang.

ENG| When I opened the packaging, I saw three samples. A sample to clean, refresh and care the skin. At the top, you’ll find a short explanation about the collection ‘Aquasource’ and some biological facts. Biotherm promise that it gives visible results on the skin. The skin is supposedly fuller, brighter and moisturizes 48hrs long.

1. REINIG/CLEAN

Hydra-mineral cleanser toning mousse| Mijn huid wordt perfect gereinigd. Kleine korreltjes werden verspreid over mijn gelaat. Deze opende subtiel mijn poriën en verwijderde zo mijn dode huidcelletjes. Daarna spoelde ik het product met lauw water. Mijn huid voelde daarna fris en schoon.

ENG| It cleanses my skin perfectly. I felt some little grains which opened my pores and scrubbed all my filthy, dead skin cells. Than I rinsed the product with lukelaw water. After applying my skin felt fresh and clean.

2. VERKWIK/CLEAN

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instant hydratation toning lotion| Tonifiëren van de huid, is één van de belangrijkste stappen voor je dagelijkse verzorging routine. Deze tonic bereikt wel de diepe vuiligheid, maar er is niets zo spectaculair aan deze tonic. Het  doet wat elke tonic moet doen, namelijk verkwikken! Je kan dus deze tonic perfect vervangen door een goedkopere tonic.

ENG| Toning the skin is one of the most important steps of your daily skin care routine. A toner reaches the deep dirt that cleansers cannot. But nothing spectacular about the toner, it does what every toner should do. So if you can buy a toner less pricy it’s also fine.

3. VERZORGEN/SKIN CARE

Deep Hydratation Replenishing Gel for Normal or Combination Skin| De hydraterende gel is schitterend! De hele dag lang was mijn huid gehydrateerd! De roodheid verdween en mijn poriën waren nauwelijks zichtbaar. OMG, mijn huid was zo zacht, net als een babytje. Jaja, ik was verbijsterd!

ENG| The Gel moisterizer is brilliant! It really keeps my skin hydrated the whole day! The redness disappeared and my pores were barely visible. And my skin, WAAUW it felt so soft! I had the skin of a baby. Yeah I was blown away!

Conclusion

Als je deze drie producten (buiten goedkopere tonic) samen gebruikt, garandeer ik u dat je een zachtere huid zult hebben. Mijn huid was minder droog en olieachtig. Enige nadeel, is dat de prijzen nogal aan de hoge kant liggen. De beslissing ligt in jouw handen. Ik ben alvast heel tevreden!
