Het is weer al een tijdje geleden. Heb het namelijk heel druk met mijn werk. Media staat nooit stil. Maar Tamara ook niet, dus heb ik nieuwe, interessante productjes voor jullie in petto. Ik was namelijk op zoek naar iets nieuw. Niet echt een BB, CC of foundation, maar meer een getinte dagcrème. Nu dat de zomer weer voor de deur staat, heb ik graag een soort crème te gebruiken die toch mij een egalere huid geeft, maar toch vrij natuurlijk blijft. Mijn favoriete verkoper (planet parfum in Vilvoorde) had mij aangeraden om dit productje uit te proberen. ANNAYAKE!!!

I was looking for something new. Not a BB, CC or foundation, but a tinted day cream. Especially because the summer is almost here, I don’t want to melt in the sun. I’d like to wear some make-up, but with has a smooth finish. So my favourite seller (planet parfum Vilvoorde) suggested me to try out this product. ANNAYAKE!!!

Sommige onder jullie zullen waarschijnlijk dit merk niet kennen. Ik had al een paar staaltjes van gekregen, maar had het nog nooit gekocht. Dit merk, Annayake, komt vanuit Japan. Dit merk staat voor een concept van een op maat gemaakte verzorging. Annayake probeert zoveel mogelijk de producten af te stemmen op de individuele klantbehoeftes. De Japanse cultuur en natuur speelt zoals gewoonlijk weer een belangrijke rol bij de productontwikkeling van Annayake.

De getinte dagcreme combineert zowel make-up als verzorging. Het hydrateert je huid, maakt het egaler en laat een bruine toets achter. De kleur heeft wat een orange kleur, wat mij wat zorgen maakte, maar eenmaal uitgesmeerd op de huid laat het geen strepen achter en absorbeert het zeer goed in de huid. De textuur is wat dikker dan een gewone creme, maar buiten alles is het een goede getinte crème. Toch moet ik eerlijk toegeven dat een getinte dagcrème niet mijn foundation of BB creme zou kunnen vervangen. Prijs: 38,90 €

ENG| The tinted daycream combines both make-up as skincare. It moisterize the skin, makes it smoother and leaves a brown touch. The colour is a little bit orange, which concerned me, but once you smudge it, it absorbs immediately well in the skin and doesn’t leave stripes. The texture is a little bit thicker than a regular cream, but I must be honest that a tinted day cream would’t replace my foundation or BB crème. Price: 38.90 €

Essence Soft Touch Mousse 01 matt sand

Het is zondag en hier lig ik nu in de zetel met mijn laptop op mijn schoot en met een Nespresso Lungo Ciocattino (chocoladesmaak), klaar om een nieuwe review post te schrijven. Mmmm… deze nieuwe gadget Nespresso smaakt mij. Bon, terug naar de realiteit. Vandaag geef ik jullie een korte review over een Essence product die ik al een jaar in mijn make-up tas heb liggen. Ik was deze soft mousse volledig vergeten, maar ben sinds kort deze weer beginnen te gebruiken en vindt het GEWELDIG!

Let’s go back to reality. Today I wanted to talk about an Essence product, which I have for almost one year in my makeup bag. I totally forgot about this soft mousse, but recently reused it, and FELL IN LOVE with this product all over again 

Wat maakt deze soft touch mousse zo geweldig? Eerst en vooral voelt deze vrij luchtig op de huid en smeert als boter. Ik meen het, als je deze met je vingertoppen of kwast aanbrengt en samen blendt, smeert het zo vlot over de huid. Qua dekking geeft het een medium dekking, waardoor je er juist heel natuurlijk uitziet. De textuur voelt wel dik aan op je vingertoppen, maar eenmaal je het blendt, verdwijnt deze dikheid en lijkt het alsof je niets op de huid hebt liggen.

ENG | What makes this soft touche mousse so great? First of all, it feels so soft on the skin and smooths like butter. I mean it, when you apply this mousse with your fingers or a brush, it blends so nicely together. As for the coverage, I would say it gives you a medium coverage, which looks very natural on the skin. The texture feels very thick on your fingertips, but once blended, it disappears immediately.  

 

Ik kan deze Essence  mousse  vergelijken met de Maybelline Dream matte mousse, maar de Maybelline is iets aan de duurdere kant (13.99 €), terwijl Essence Soft Touch Mousse slechts 3.89 € kost. Het enige nadeel is dat Essence Mouse niet genoeg tinten in zijn gamma beschikbaar heeft. Dus niet iedereen kan zijn ideale kleur vinden, terwijl dit bij Maybelline wel het geval is. Maar persoonlijk, vind ik de 01 Sand een mooie tint, die vrij goed bij mijn huid past. Je kan dit product bij Kruidvat terugvinden.

ENG | I compare this Essence Mousse with Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, but Maybelline is a little bit more expensive ( 13.99 €), whilst Essence Soft Touch Mousse only 3.89 € costs. The only disadvantage is that this Essence Mousse isn’t enough available in different shades for every skin tone.You only have 5 shades to choose from.  So not everyone could find their perfect foundation. Meanwhile Maybelline does have different shades, but I personally find the 01 Sand matching my skin perfectly. You can purchase this at Kruidvat.

La Nuit de Chanel – Night Cream

Happy zondag iedereen! Hoe was jullie weekend? De mijne was top, het mooie weer tovert altijd een lach op mijn gezicht 🙂 Trouwens, ik heb met al julie leuke tips rekening gehouden en heb dit weekend volop geshopt! Ik dank jullie hiervoor. Deze zaterdag kocht ik mijn eerste echte, luxe nachtcrème… “La Nuit de Chanel”. Ik was zo enthousiast en kon niet wachten om deze nachtcème gisterenavond op mijn gezicht te smeren.

I bought this saturday my first real, luxury night cream… “La Nuit de Chanel“. I was so excited and  couldn’t wait to try this night cream yesterday evening. 

De verpakking is vrij basic en sober. Dit had je wel verwacht van Chanel, want “less is more”! Deze nachtcrème zou volgens Chanel je huid herstellen en kalmeren. Het wierookextract herstelt de cellen die geprikkeld zijn door de schadelijke invloeden van de dag.

La Nuit de Chanel is een mooie, zwarte fles van 50ml en het heeft een handig pompje. Je drukt eenmaal op het pompje en verdeelt het s’avonds over je gezicht, zo simpel. Het product voelt fijn op mijn huid. Na het aanbrengen wordt de crème volledig geabsorbeert in mijn huid en het plakt niet. Mijn huid voelt de volgende dag goed, soepel aan en straalt ook mooier. Roodheid is ook hier en daar wat verdwenen. Nadelen? Ja, de prijs is natuurlijk aan de duurdere kant, maar wat had je verwacht van Chanel? Ik kocht de fles bij mijn favoriete Planet Parfum  en geweldige verkoper Christophe voor wel €70.

ENG| La Nuit de Chanel is a lovely, black bottle with 50ml and has a great pump. You push just one time and spread the cream all over your face, easy does it. The product feels fine on my skin. After applying, my skin absorbs immediately the cream and it doesn’t stick. My skin feels the next day good, smooth and radiates more beautiful. The redness dissapeared on some places. Disadvantages? Yes, I would say the price for some people, but what did you expect from Chanel? I bought this bottle at my favourite Planet Parfum and friendly seller Christophe for €70.

Revlon! Een merk waar ik de laatste dagen een zwak voor heb. Onlangs kocht ik de BB crème Photoready skin perfector licht/medium. Ik had ergens gelezen dat dit een goede BB crème was. Bovendien, van foundations en BB crèmes heb je namelijk nooit genoeg van.

Wat belooft Revlon over deze BB crème? Het is een licht, multifunctioneel benefit beauty balm dat huidverzorging, makeup en zonnencrème combineert. Het hydrateert zoals een moisterizer, egaliseert als een primer, dekt net als een foundation en vervaagt zoals een concealer. Bovendien beschermt het je met SPF30. Deze BB is verkrijgbaar in 3 tinten: licht, licht/medium en medium.

Als je een BB, CC of foundation koopt moet je weten wat voor huid je hebt. Niet alle BB, CC of foundations matchen jouw huidtype. Bij deze BB is dit het geval. Ik heb bijvoorbeeld een vrij normale huid, waardoor deze BB crème mij goed gaat. Maar heb je een olie-achtige huid, dan is deze BB niets voor jou. Het zal eraf smelten en kan me voorstellen dat je dit niet wilt. Ik combineer de crème samen met poeder en dit houdt mijn BB beter vast.

ENG| When you buy a BB, CC or foundation, you need to know which type of skin you have. Not all BB, CC or foundation will match your skin. With this BB, it is the case. For example I’ve a normal kin, so this BB covers my skin well. But if you have oily skin, don’t bother to purchase this product. It will melt and you don’t want that, I imagine. I combine it together with some powder, which stick my BB better.

De tint verbergt niet al je poriën, acne of gebreken, maar ik vind voor een droge/normale huid (die niet veel puistjes bevat) het goed dekt. Het brengt wat glans en helderheid op je gezicht, wat ik wel leuk vind. Daarom niet geschikt voor een olie-achtige huid, want je zal nog meer glimmen. De BB is vrij licht en absorbeert mooi, wat fijner aanvoelt op mijn huid. 🙂 Prijs €11,25

ENG| The shade does not cover pores, acne or flaws. But for a dry/normal, problem free skin (without pimples ) it gives a good coverage. It gives you some brightness and shine on the skin, which I find nice. Thus, not for oily skin, because you will shine more. The BB is very light and absorbs well, which feels nice on my skin. 🙂 Price €11,25

Get rid of that pimple overnight

Ook last van die puistjes? Het doet toch iets met je.  Je zelfvertrouwen daalt, omdat dat ene puistje toch op die bepaalde plaats zichtbaar is. Ik had geluk. Tijdens mijn tienerjaren had ik er niet zoveel last van. Maar ik ken andere  die er voortdurend mee worstelde. Vandaag heb ik er geen meer, maar als die verdomde maandstonden naderen, dan duiken er toch enkele terug op. 😦 Wat moet je dan doen? Al gehoord van “Hexomedine“?

Mijn oma had een klein geheimpje verstopt in haar badkamerkastje. Namelijk Hexomedine. Ze vertelde mij dat het een geweldig product is tegen puistjes. Na mijn bezoekje rende ik naar de apotheker en kocht ik dit goedje.

After my little visit I rushed to the pharmacist and bought this product. 

Hexomedine is een niet irriterend antisepticum. Het is een hulpmiddel om veroorzaakte huidaandoeningen door surinfecties en bacteriën te behandelen. De bijsluiter vermeld: het is een soort ontsmettingsmiddel en behandelt infecties van de huid. Hexomedine mag niet gebruikt worden op open wonden.

De Hexomedine is een vloeibaar, niet-gekleurd product. De geur is vrij sterk en ruikt naar alcohol.
The Hexomedine is a liquid, uncolored product. The scent is very strong and smells like alcohol. Hoe gebruiken? How to use?

Het beste is Hexomedine te gebruiken voor je gaat slapen. Je neemt een oorstokje en een beetje Hexomedine en smeer het op alle beginnende, groeiende puistjes!  Dus niet op puistjes die je al open hebt gedaan, want dit zijn open wonden. Maar op puistjes die nog niet rijp zijn, maar net groeien tot een mogelijk, toekomstig puistje. Tijdens de nacht drogen die behandelde puistjes uit en de volgende morgend zijn ze al minder zichtbaar. Ze zijn niet meer zo rood als gisterenavond.

Scrubbing Time + Best Body Scrubs

Jaaaa, jaaa… zomer is er! Geeft je dit geen fantastich gevoel? Mij wel, de zon, bruinen, zwembaden, bbqs enz. Met deze felle zon wil iedereen een bruin kleurtje hebben.  Maar om fatsoenlijk te bruinen, moet je je voorbereiden.  Wat moet je doen?

Of je nu natuurlijk bruin wilt worden of een zelfbruiner wilt gebruiken, scrubben is één van de belangrijkste routines! Waarom?

Je huidcellen vernieuwen elke dag opnieuw. Je lichaam maakt extra cellen als ze in contact komen met UV-stralen of andere schadelijke invloeden. Ik vergelijk dit een beetje als een slang. Door celvernieuwing, verliest je dode huidcellen. Deze dode huidcellen moeten ook verwijderd worden, anders wordt je huid grauw. Net als een slang vervel je. Dus deze dode huidcellen moeten weggehaald worden om daarna tot een zachte huid te komen.

By cell renewal, you lose a lot of dead skin cells. These dead skin cells must be removed, otherwise your skin would become more grey. Like a snake you peels. Scrubben zorgt ervoor dat je huid straalt en zacht aanvoelt. Bij hardmatig zweten zie je die zichtbare velletjes, wel dit zijn dode huidcellen. Het lijkt vies, maar het zijn gewoon huidschilfertjes. Scrubben is ook belangrijk, voordat je zelfbruiners gebruikt of gewoon buiten gaat bruinen.

L’Occitane – Deze scrub is een pasta en voelt als een crème, maar je bespeurt toch de korrteltjes. Ruikt naar amandelolie. ENG| This paste  feels like a cream, but you will notice the salt grains. Smells like almond oil+ shea butter. €8,50-50ml

 

Body Shop – De korrels is gemalen rijst — het product zal in je handen niet ontbinden voordat je klaar bent  met scrubben.
ENG| The grains are ground-up rice — so the product doesn’t dissolve in your hands before you’re finished exfoliating. It smells like cocoa butter and your skin is perfectlty smooth.

Biotherm Aquasource – Your beauty routine

Iedereen heeft wel problemen met zijn eigen huid. Die vuile poriën, puistjes, roodheid en ga zo maar verder. Maar, hoe krijg je nou die diepe hydratatie en zachte huid? 
Ik heb iets getest! Ik beloof niet dat het al je roodheid, puistjes…wegwerkt. Maar het resultaat achteraf was verrassend!

ENG| I got a sample from Ici Paris Xl, Biotherm Aquasource! Do you know Biotherm? Biotherm is a French luxury skin care company. The brand uses thermal plankton and mineral water as ingredients which supposedly is key to healthy skin. It’s time to test this!

Bij het openen zag ik 3 staaltjes. Staaltje om te reinigen, verkwikken en te verzorgen. Bovenaan staat de collectie “Aquasource” kort uitgelegd en enkele biologische feiten.
Biotherm beloofd dat het zichtbare resultaten geeft op de huid. De huid is zowat voller, stralender en hydrateert 48u lang.

ENG| When I opened the packaging, I saw three samples. A sample to clean, refresh and care the skin. At the top, you’ll find a short explanation about the collection ‘Aquasource’ and some biological facts. Biotherm promise that it gives visible results on the skin. The skin is supposedly fuller, brighter and moisturizes 48hrs long.

1. REINIG/CLEAN

Hydra-mineral cleanser toning mousse| Mijn huid wordt perfect gereinigd. Kleine korreltjes werden verspreid over mijn gelaat. Deze opende subtiel mijn poriën en verwijderde zo mijn dode huidcelletjes. Daarna spoelde ik het product met lauw water. Mijn huid voelde daarna fris en schoon.

ENG| It cleanses my skin perfectly. I felt some little grains which opened my pores and scrubbed all my filthy, dead skin cells. Than I rinsed the product with lukelaw water. After applying my skin felt fresh and clean.

2. VERKWIK/CLEAN

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instant hydratation toning lotion| Tonifiëren van de huid, is één van de belangrijkste stappen voor je dagelijkse verzorging routine. Deze tonic bereikt wel de diepe vuiligheid, maar er is niets zo spectaculair aan deze tonic. Het  doet wat elke tonic moet doen, namelijk verkwikken! Je kan dus deze tonic perfect vervangen door een goedkopere tonic.

ENG| Toning the skin is one of the most important steps of your daily skin care routine. A toner reaches the deep dirt that cleansers cannot. But nothing spectacular about the toner, it does what every toner should do. So if you can buy a toner less pricy it’s also fine.

3. VERZORGEN/SKIN CARE

Deep Hydratation Replenishing Gel for Normal or Combination Skin| De hydraterende gel is schitterend! De hele dag lang was mijn huid gehydrateerd! De roodheid verdween en mijn poriën waren nauwelijks zichtbaar. OMG, mijn huid was zo zacht, net als een babytje. Jaja, ik was verbijsterd!

ENG| The Gel moisterizer is brilliant! It really keeps my skin hydrated the whole day! The redness disappeared and my pores were barely visible. And my skin, WAAUW it felt so soft! I had the skin of a baby. Yeah I was blown away!

Conclusion

Als je deze drie producten (buiten goedkopere tonic) samen gebruikt, garandeer ik u dat je een zachtere huid zult hebben. Mijn huid was minder droog en olieachtig. Enige nadeel, is dat de prijzen nogal aan de hoge kant liggen. De beslissing ligt in jouw handen. Ik ben alvast heel tevreden!
